The project covers the town’s general education schools numbered two to nine, a private and night school. At school No. 1, the necessary lighting was installed during its recent renovation.

All the main heat exchange equipment was installed in the turbine hall. These are low and high pressure heaters, separators - steam reheaters, deaerator. The supporting systems - ventilation, heating and lighting - were installed too.

The group consists of about eighty people. These are experienced specialists who for many years worked in industry enterprises, designed and built power units of the Finnish Loviisa NPP and foreign NPPs.

Concreting was performed from elevation +33.000 to 35.900. A total of 520 cubic meters of concrete were placed. This concreting section is currently gaining the design strength under a special shelter.

It is used to construct the 170 meter high evaporative cooling tower.

It will start in the warm season with the mean daily temperature of +5°C.

The installation is carried out on the special bench. The steelwork of the inner containment’s lower tier are being currently assembled.

The equipment weighing 440 tons was delivered to the construction site from St. Petersburg, from the Power Machines plant.

All 163 fuel assemblies were installed and the preparation for the nuclear reaction start has begun.
