It will be transported by a river barge from Tyazhmash factory (Syzran city) up the Volga River, via Lake Onego to Sosnovy Bor.

This is one of the largest elements of the reactor building with the weight exceeding 270 t, the length of 7.6 m, and the diameter of 7.5 m.

The transport lock will be installed in the opening between the inner and outer containments of the reactor building, at elevation +26.300. In the course of power unit operation it will be used for hauling of oversize cargoes and nuclear fuel.

The cargo will be delivered to the city pier and unloaded with the help of special devices. Then it will be transported to the storage area at the construction site on a load platform.
