Leaders of the two countries took part in the video conference: Vladimir Putin, President of the Russian Federation, and Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, President of the Republic of Turkey. They gave their official permission to start the construction, i.e. to lay the first concrete in the foundation of Power Unit 3.

Installation was performed by specialists of TİTAN2 IC İÇTAŞ İNŞAAT ANONİM ŞİRKETİ, a Russian and Turkish joint venture.

Currently, the company’s specialists continue the installation of the power output system that will allow to safely commission Unit 6 (Power Unit 2 of the LNPP 2) into commercial operation this March.

Students started working at facilities of the company in Leningrad, Kaliningrad, and Tomsk Oblasts.

JSC CONCERN TITAN-2 is the main contractor of the project.

Works are performed by specialists of the hydraulic structures project of TİTAN2 IC İÇTAŞ İNŞAAT ANONİM ŞİRKETİ, a joint Russian and Turkish venture.

Installation was performed by workers of the lifting mechanisms site of TİTAN2 IC İÇTAŞ İNŞAAT ANONİM ŞİRKETİ, a Russian and Turkish joint venture, and by those of TSM (MSU-90). The weight of equipment was around 150 tonnes.
