The specialists of JSC MSU-90 and JSC CONCERN TITAN-2 performed the installation.

Liebherr LR 11350 crane with the lifting capacity of 1350 tons was used to move the structure onto the reactor building. The height of the building reached the elevation of approximately 60 m.

The containment tier was assembled on the special bench close to the reactor building. The structure consists of 18 metal plates and weighs over 100 tons. Additionally it was equipped with heat exchangers, lightning and ventilation systems. The total weight of this inner containment segment exceeds 300 tons.

The procedure will be the same to install the upper part of the inner containment dome, which is under assembly now on the site next to the reactor building.
