This town is one of three residential areas close to “Hanhikivi-1” NPP construction site. During the anniversary celebration, the old Russian sailing vessel “Sedov” arrived to the port of Raahe.

At the captain’s invitation, the honoured guests were welcomed aboard: city administration representatives, Raahe port and SSAB Europe metalworking company managers, as well as JSC Concern Titan-2 and RAOS Project Oy representatives. The guests were told the story of the sailing vessel during the tour around her decks.

At the official meeting with the vessel crew, Titan-2 Holding was represented by Alexander Tupitsyn, JSC Concern Titan-2 “Hanhikivi-1” NPP Construction Program Director.

Under the Raahe anniversary celebration, vessel crew was also welcomed at the local administration. This meeting was supported by JSC Concern Titan-2 and RAOS Project OY.

“Sedov” vessel was open to public. Over 6500 locals and Raahe guests visited her during the two days. Employees of the “Hanhikivi-1” NPP Construction Program office in Finland were among them.

Over 80 Titan-2 specialists live and work in this region of Finland. Company's office is located in Pyhäjoki, close to the Finnish NPP construction site and 25km away from Raahe. Titan-2 Holding is working on strengthening of the relationship with the local community, development of international relations, cultural and business cooperation.
