Established in 1976, the organization operates throughout the country and is a part of BMW Clubs International Council. Members of the motor club arrived in Sosnovy Bor within their third trip to Russia: “Leningrad Oblast Tour 2019”.
When planning the trip, the club members noticed that LNPP-2 is located in close proximity to their route. It was decided to visit the construction site, since the Plant is the reference one for Hanhikivi-1 NPP being built in Finland. The Members of the motor club have already visited the nuclear power plants in Loviisa and Olkiluoto back home. Foremost, they were interested in the LNPP-2 construction schedule and safety issues.
Alexander Tupitsyn, Program Director, told the guests from Finland about the work of JSC CONCERN TITAN-2 at Hanhikivi 1 NPP construction site. At the end of the meeting, the motor club members were shown LNPP-2 second power unit construction site.
