Finnish town of Tampere hosted the exhibition "Energy in 2016." Experts from the holding "TITAN-2" together with colleagues submitted a project for the construction of NPP "Hanhikivi 1".


This is the largest exhibition in Finland dedicated to energy sources. The first "Energy" exhibition was held in 1996 and since then it is held every two years, at the exhibition complex "Tampere Exhibition Centre PIRKKAHALLI".

The main topics of the exhibition ENERGIA include production and distribution of energy, maintenance and operation of power plants, equipment for power plants, forms of energy production and energy sources. Ecological security and staff training issues are also within its scope. Among the guests were representatives of industrial companies, students of specialized educational institutions, experts from nuclear and other industries.

The project NPP "Hanhikivi 1" at the exhibition was presented in a separate stand. Visitors could examine a model of the future plant, attend a presentation about the project participants including the state Corporation Rosatom, the Finnish company "Fennovoima" and the main contractors. Questions asked by the guests related to the holding "TITAN-2" activities in the framework of the NPP construction program were answered by the PR-Manager of the branch of JSC "CONCERN TITAN-2" in Finland, Mr. Mikhail Chicherin.

Representatives of business circles were interested in the opportunity to participate in the construction of the station, young specialists asked questions on employment. Also, among those concerned with the fate of the construction were the older generation of nuclear engineers who constructed the Russian-Finnish nuclear plant "Loviisa".
