The event was held at the initiative of JSC CONCERN TITAN-2 – the general contractor of the project, and Rosenergoatom JSC – the customer of construction.
Representatives of the Kola NPP, the Government of the Murmansk Region, the Regional Ministry of Education and Science, JSC CONCERN TITAN-2, the Union “Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Murmansk Region”, as well as potential contractors interested in participating in the project took part in the discussion.
TITAN-2 Holding presented plans of the preparatory stage, and also held a series of dedicated sessions with potential contractors in the key areas: from construction and installation works to personnel training.
Igor Koshin, Director of the Kola NPP-2 Construction Program of JSC CONCERN TITAN-2:
“The main purpose of this event is to determine future partners for the pre-construction stage of the Kola NPP-2. We hope that the project contractors will be able to gain the necessary experience and replicate it at similar facilities both nationally, and abroad.”
The Kola NPP-2 project will be the seventh nuclear construction facility in the portfolio of JSC CONCERN TITAN-2, including three foreign construction sites in Egypt, Turkey and Hungary, and will play an important role in developing the Arctic region and strengthening the country’s energy security.
