In December 2024, the PTC was commissioned into pilot operation. Waste disposal processes are currently being developed.
There are 500 specialists and over 40 units of construction equipment involved at the site.
Currently, the main focus is on developing all technological processes (chains) and obtaining final products that meet technical requirements and conditions. Once fully operational, the complex will be able to process up to 50,000 tons of waste per year. Modern technological solutions will enable waste disposal using thermal and physical-chemical methods.
The Gorny PTC was built under the federal project of Infrastructure for Handling Waste of Hazard Classes I and II (national project of Ecology).
