In Dudinka, TITAN successfully tested two 5,000 m3 oil product storage tanks for Norilsktransgaz. The tanks will get the corrosion protection shortly, after which they will be put into operation. An automatic loading station (ALS) and an elevated track have been installed. The work for the ALS also included façade cladding and installing an information stele.

In Tukhard, specialists of JSC CONCERN TITAN-2 were involved in installing a new 1,000 m3 vertical tank (vertical steel tank). JSC Norilsktransgaz was the customer for this project as well. The tank passed hydraulic tests with good results. The inner surface of the vertical steel tank has been completed, and the project has been delivered to the customer for use.

The company is completing all contracted work for Taimyr Fuel Company (TTK). Now, it is in the process of delivering the relevant documentation to the customer. The elevated track and the automatic loading station were installed over the summer. After the construction work was done, the pre-commissioning work began. There still remains the landscaping work: sheathing the ALS building, clearing the area of the waste generated by the construction, and grading. A similar work was performed for the elevated track of the Kayerkan Oil Base.

“The concrete plant in the Old City in Norilsk has finished its first season of trial operation without a problem. With its output capacity, the plant was designed both to meet the company’s own needs and to produce concrete for sale. The plant has not been connected to utility systems yet; it has been working autonomously, powered by a diesel power plant. The second plant, located in Dudinka, is also producing concrete to meet the needs of the builders. Its design capacity is 40 cubic meters per hour. Both plants are adapted for operation in the Arctic environment all year round, but we do not need this so far. Therefore, both facilities were mothballed for the winter period. In May, we will test launch them after the break and continue producing concrete mixtures,” said Maksim Fil, Director of the Norilsk Branch of JSC CONCERN TITAN-2.

Another major event of the summer was the delivery of river loading arms via the Yenisei. A loading arm is a loading/unloading device for handling liquid products (oil, oil products, other liquid hydrocarbons, chemicals, water, etc.).

TITAN has carried out interior renovation of the building of the forging and heat treatment shop of the Mechanical Plant, replaced 5,800 square meters of roofing elements, and painted the façade of the building. Now, the project is in its final stage. The relevant documents are being finalized to be delivered to the customer – Norilsknikelremont (NNR).

In addition, the company is to complete Stage 1 of the construction of a 4.2 km steam line for JSC NTEK. The project is 40% completed, with the installation of metalwork and the steam line pipe ongoing. This is where the resources of the Norilsk branch of JSC CONCERN TITAN-2 are mainly concentrated at the moment.
