The pilot sample of the main circulation pump unit was delivered to the site of the Siberian Chemical Combine in Seversk in the end of March.
At the present moment, the company specialists have started the assembly of a unique equipment. The shipping container was placed upright by a special tilting device, and the pump was extracted from it and put on a SKD assembly stand.
The pump actuating motor will be installed into the MCPU top part after the assembled pump unit is descended into a 13-meter column for melted lead. Then, the TITAN team will carry out testing of the equipment. Theoverallweightofthepumpunitexceeds 30 tons.
JSC CONCERN TITAN-2 has already received the Rostekhnadzor statement confirming that the MCPU acceptance and handover test stand complies with the design documentation requirements. Thisdocumentconformsthepossibilitytousethestand.
Inspection of various properties will be carried out during 2023 under the control of JSC CDBMD, a company whose specialists have designed and fabricated the pump unit for the PDEC Proryv reactor.
