The meeting was arranged during Mr. Starovoit’s business trip to Kurchatov.

The Interim Governor visited operating Kursk NPP and the construction site of new supplementary units where JSC “Concern Titan-2” specialists are currently working. Pavel Ivaskov, the JSC “Concern Titan-2” Head of Construction Directorate for Kursk Region facilities, reported on the work progress.

Reactor building construction is ongoing at the nuclear island of the first power unit, while at the second unit foundation slab concreting is underway. Over 3000m3 of the concrete mix have already been poured into the basement.

JSC “Concern Titan-2” specialists are working on the Turbine Island of the first unit under construction. This year, they shall finalize the flooring at 0.000 elevation and complete installation of the metal structures of the turbine building frame.
