The critical operation on installation of the deaerator was carried out by specialists of Area no. 6 of JSC "MSU-90" and JSC "UAT". At first, the deaerator was installed in design position at the platform of the auxiliary building by means of GROOVE crane. Lifting and installation of the deaerator in the building was executed by means of "Potain" tower crane with load capacity of 40 tons. The equipment weighing about 17 tons was lifted to the height of more than 20 metres and lowered to its regular place at the level of +8.000 through a special aperture in the roof of the building. The deaerator is a heat exchanger of mixed cycle. It is intended for technological process of mixing of chemically deionized water with boric concentrate. This water is used to feed the first circuit.

After installation to the regular place, the deaerator will fixed at the base plate, and then it will be connected to the technological pipelines of the system.
