The “1C: Project of the Year” contest is a milestone in the IT industry, which brings together participants from Russia and the CIS countries.
Its goal is to identify leading users and partners who have achieved significant results in business digitalization and successful implementation of solutions on the platform “1C: Enterprise 8”. In 2025, more than 400 projects completed in 2024 were submitted for the contest.
The project of the TITAN-2 holding to create a unified regulatory information management system (NSI) based on “1C:MDM NSI Management” has been highly appraised by experts for its originality, scale and technical complexity of implementation. It has been recognized as the best in the field and become the industry's first major international solution based on the “1C:MDM” platform (note: Master Data Management (MDM) is a set of software solutions and special tools for presenting miscellaneous information in a single format).
The project, implemented by the holding's specialists in collaboration with the integrator, was launched in 2022.
Its main task was to build a unified MDM system for the TITAN-2 sites both in Russia and abroad. The solution provides autonomous operation of local circuits with centralized management from Russia and supports data processing in three languages: Russian, English and Turkish.
The project implementation has allowed the company to dramatically increase the speed of consolidated reporting, improve data quality, and simplify integration between more than 20 corporate systems. The solution continues to evolve, and after the completion of the project, the Directum system and the El-Dabaa NPP site are already connected to the system of their own.
The processing and adaptation of huge amounts of information was particularly difficult, taking into account different cultural and technical features. Over 200 thousand nomenclature items and 96 thousand counterparties have been systematized and processed within the project framework.
It is important to note that the solution is based entirely on the domestic technology stack in full compliance with the import substitution strategy.
Galina Yalkhovskikh, Head of Digitalization of Management Processes at the TITAN-2 Holding, notes:
“This victory is the result of well-coordinated work of the entire project team, as well as the recognition of our specialists’ top-notch expertise. The project has become the first international MDM solution of this scale in the experience of 1C partners. We have created a technologically sophisticated system based on a fully import-substituting IT architecture, which simultaneously ensures the independent operation of geographically remote sites and centralized management of corporate data in three languages – Russian, Turkish and English. Our colleagues have already recognized the value of this solution. After the victory, representatives of several large Russian companies, including Rosatom, have contacted us for references. The award confirms that TITAN-2 is a company capable of developing its own competencies and sharing its unique experience with the market in the field of IT technologies”.
The transition to the new system has been as smooth as possible for end-users. The integration of the MDM platform with other NSI consumer systems has ensured reliable data synchronization, stable information exchange, and a high degree of control.
The award ceremony took place at the end of November as part of the 1C:ERP Business Forum XII held at Crocus Expo in Moscow. The event brought together more than 7,000 participants, and the experience of TITAN-2 was of particular interest, especially in the context of building multilingual solutions for data consolidation in an international environment.
