The training was attended by heads and representatives of the occupational safety departments of the central office of Rosenergoatom JSC, the Leningrad, Kursk, Smolensk and Beloyarsk NPPs, as well as specialists from Atomstroyexport JSC, JSC CONCERN TITAN-2, PJSC «NBD» («SUS»), SEM JSC and JSC MSU-90.

The main objective of the seminar is to share best practices in occupational safety and health that have already been implemented and proven effective, as well as to discuss actions aimed at preserving the lives and health of the employees.

The event program included presentations on practical experience in developing and implementing the occupational health and safety management system at the LNPP-2 power units under construction. The participants learned about successful cases from JSC CONCERN TITAN-2 and shared their own developments in ensuring safety at construction facilities.

Marina Sukhanova, Head of the HSE Department and Chief Inspector of JSC CONCERN TITAN-2, emphasized:
«Safety is our company’s absolute priority. We invest significant physical, human, and financial resources into creating safe working conditions. We place particular emphasis on visual communication: building graphics, banners, and posters constantly remind our personnel of the importance of adhering to safety regulations. The sanitary and living conditions on the construction site are a particular source of pride. Drinking water, toilets, changing rooms, and drying rooms are all provided for the convenience of the employees. Morning assembly sessions are the foundation of our safety culture. This is where the workday begins: short briefing, an overview of workplace risks, and clear instructions on how to safely complete the tasks. Our goal is to ensure that each employee understands from the very first step on site that his or her safety is a shared value.»

During the meeting, the training participants completed practical tours of the Leningrad NPP-2 construction site, visiting Units 3 and 4. They took part in key operational procedures, including demonstration inspections, safety assembly sessions, senior management meetings on safety, and other events.

The guests were particularly drawn to the morning safety assembly sessions at the temporary accomodation camps, which are a mandatory daily procedure for all TITAN-2 construction workers. Personnel are not allowed to work without passing such sessions. This practice is an integral part of the Company’s corporate occupational safety standard.

Yury Slepokon, Chief Inspector of Rosenergoatom JSC, noted:
«The LNPP-2 construction site is characterized both by its compliance with regulatory requirements and by its commitment to human well-being. Here, the process is approached more thoughtfully, responsibly, and appropriately. The management of TITAN-2 Holding is personally committed to ensuring order on the site and excellent living conditions for the personnel. The entire team is focused on results, and this systematic approach deserves the highest praise.»
