The delegation was received by: Evgenii Iatcenko, JSC CONCERN TITAN-2 Director for Construction; Sergey Arkanov, UPP OJSC General Director; Konstantin Khudyakov, JSC CONCERN TITAN-2 LNPP-2 Construction Program Director.
During the meeting, the guests visited the construction site of the new power units at the Leningrad NPP-2 and listened to the presentation on the TITAN-2 Holding’s patented open-top installation method.
In addition, the delegation representatives were familiarized with the list of works planned to be carried out using Zoomlion equipment. To celebrate their long-standing partnership, the meeting participants exchanged signed commemorative helmets and also left symbolic signatures on the new Zoomlion crane recently installed at the site of Unit No. 3.
The visit is associated with the recent assembly of the Zoomlion ZCC32000 caterpillar crane with a lifting capacity of 2,000 tons at the LNPP-2 site. The installation works were carried out under the control of the manufacturer’s engineers supervisors. An auxiliary Manitowoc 18000 caterpillar crane with a lifting capacity of 750 tons and a Youngmao tower crane were used to install the Zoomlion crane. 10 installers and 5 engineers were involved in the works. Thanks to the coordinated efforts of the UMIAT team, the assembly has been completed ahead of schedule.
The powerful Zoomlion ZCC32000 lifting mechanism will be used in key operations at the LNPP-2 construction site, including the installation of the core catcher and the assembly of large-scale nuclear island equipment.
