This year, the championship chose the Expoforum exhibition centre in Saint Petersburg as its venue. The organizers of the event were the Minstroy of Russia, ROSATOM, the presidential platform “Russia – A Country of Opportunity”, PJSC Gazprom, and the Government of Saint Petersburg.
The championship welcomed participants from around 40 countries, including our colleagues – a team of Turkish builders, working on the Akkuyu NPP construction site. The competition part of the championship had over 1,500 participants, technical experts and coordinators of groups and teams.
For TITAN, it is the third International Construction Championship. This year, there were 31 participants and experts and nine nominations, including two new ones. Taking part in the competition and take prices has become an enjoyable tradition the TITAN-2 Holding team. For instance, last year and the year before, the TITAN-2 team won the best building platform award twice and the complete set of medals.
TITAN-2 employees won five medal places: 1st place in the nomination “Non-Destructive Testing Methods”, 2nd place in the nominations “Installation of Process Pipelines” and “Civil Construction Works”, 3rd place in the nomination “Occupational Health and Safety”, and the title “Best Building Platform”. The Turkish team showed excellent results as well by taking the 1st place in the nomination “Occupational Health and Safety”.
