This operation precedes the power unit commissioning phase.

All equipment involved in the tests has been installed by employees of the holding subsidiaries. Their task at this stage is the work support.

Previously, the primary circuit hydraulic tests were successfully completed at the power unit. They were conducted in order to check the strength and tightness of equipment, pipelines, their parts and assembly units loaded with liquid pressure.

It is planned to start hot operational testing of the equipment at the end of January. During the tests, the operability of the main and auxiliary equipment of the reactor plant will be confirmed in operating modes.

Hot operational testing is the final stage of cold and hot operational testing. It includes running-in, comprehensive testing, checking the reactor equipment, auxiliary processing systems, normal operation systems and safety systems in design conditions during the primary circuit filling, heating, operating at nominal parameters, cooling and draining.
