UMIAT PJSC SUS (Titan-2 Holding) Hoisting Equipment Operation specialists took the challenge.

Maximum lifting capacity of the crane is 3000 tons. Its boom reach allows to execute simultaneous works on two power units in progress. The crane is assembled at the operation point, and installed onto the slabs it will move along. The hoisting equipment itself weighs 3500 tons. Maximum lifting height is 149 meters, maximum boom reach is 129 meters.

The crane was delivered to the site by sea. The total weight of the cargo was approximately 4000 tons, as the crane was delivered along with auxiliary equipment, i.e. loader.

UMIAT PJSC SUS mechanics and crane operators will work on the equipment. These specialists were trained at Liebherr plant, Germany. Nuclear Island equipment - molten core catcher - will soon be installed with this crane.
