Tendon sheathing injection was performed in 45 days.

Within this period, tendon sheathings with installed tendons of high-strength strands were filled in with the special injection. The injection mortar features low water loss, nonshrinking condition and consistency for over six hours and ensures tight and void free filling of the stranded tendon sheathings.

The special mortar was mixed at site using injection units. They ensure uninterrupted mortar mixing and grouting of the tendon sheathings.

Tendons system is a part of a common reactor building safety system. In case of excessive pressure inside the containment, both concrete shell and tendons system will compensate for it. Tendons are pushed through special channels - tendon sheathings - and fully gird the inner containment vertically and horizontally.
