Lifting of the equipment was performed by JSC “MSU-90” and JSC “Concern Titan-2” specialists.

All the core internals are stored in the reactor compartment till the assembly commencement. The so-called “clean area” is specially arranged here for that purpose. The area is free from construction dust. Currently the employees will be allowed to access the area in special protective clothes only. This is necessary to provide for the reactor assembly quality and safety. The procedure will commence in March and will be performed by JSC “MSU-90” first area employees.

The equipment was delivered to the reactor compartment through the transport lock trestle using cranes.
