Installation of the four crane machine room roof sections was performed at the last stage of assembly.

Specialists installed fencing and roof stairs, machine room walls cladding and sheets of roof edging. Preassembly of the trestle crane repair portal is currently under execution.

Once assembled, the crane will be installed onto the transport lock trestle. Then it will be equipped with the hook and connected to the power supply network. The crane will weigh 200 tons and have 360 tons lifting capacity.

The trestle crane will further be used to lift main circulation pumps electric motors, transport lock and other equipment to the reactor compartment. Once power unit is in operation, the crane will deliver nuclear fuel.
