At present, the alignment of the turbine shaft line is in progress.

High-precision measuring instruments are used for pre-alignment of the shafting line. All five turbine rotors must be centred within 0.1 mm limit.

Alignment is done with the help of jacks located under the foundation frames of the bearing supports.

Now the specialists are finishing the work on the shafting line alignment. Then, the operation of transfer of the turbine unit to permanent backup plates will begin. They will be installed between the turbine foundation plates and poured with concrete. To perform further work, all five rotors will be removed from the linings of the turbine unit bearing assemblies.

After that, the alignment of the flow path of the turbine will begin.
