A printed publication of  the RBC magazine, No. 12 for December 2016, contained an article "50 Fastest-Growing Companies of Russia" with the following inaccurate information: "The largest owners of "Concern Titan-2" are Vadim Ryabov and Grigory Naginsky".  The proposal of the concern to eliminate inaccurate information regarding mentioning Vadim Ryabov was refused by the magazine.

JSC "CONCERN TITAN-2" has filed a claim against LLC "BusinessPress" (the founder of the RBC magazine) related to the retraction of the untrue information in the Arbitration court of Moscow.

26.05.2017 a preliminary hearing was held in which a representative of the RBC magazine reported that the editorial board of the magazine had voluntarily published a retraction in the April issue of the RBC magazine on page 12.

It should be noted that the retraction was posted using the wrong font and in the wrong place, therefore failing to meet the requirements of the Law of the Russian Federation on mass media.

The RBC magazine published a retraction without the use of the title "Retraction" and in the section of the magazine "Requisite Details", whereas it should have published the retraction in the category "Cover Story".

Earlier, the RBC magazine also voluntarily removed the inaccurate information from the relevant page of its electronic edition.

Since the defendant, the RBC magazine, by making these actions confirmed the acceptance of the claim, and eliminated the violation prior to the end of consideration of the claim, the arbitration court made a decision on  20.07.2017 to dismiss the claim.
