The event was held in the training center of Rosatom State Atomic Energy Corporation in Sosnovy Bor.
The selection round was intended not only to pick the best specialists, but also to work out a competitive program. Among the participants there were specialists of the technical control and labor safety departments, installers and welders.
First the contestants went through the theoretical part of the contest involving answering a set of questions. It was then followed by the practical part where they had to manufacture a pipe section in the training center production site. Whilst they were doing this the technical control specialists checked the quality of the welds, and the labor safety team made sure there were no violations during the operations.
Based on the results of the selection round the CONCERN TITAN-2 team will be formed to represent the company at the final stage of the contest, which will be held on August 9 - 11 in Nizhny Novgorod.
