Turbine specialists of the company soon will get through with installation of the process pipelines in Power Unit 1 building to connect the main and auxiliary equipment of the turbine hall.
These pipelines belong to the secondary water circulation circuit. To date 2,300 tons of pipelines have been installed. It is planned to complete installation of the remaining 100 tons until the end of March.
In addition, post-installation flushing of main condensate system in the turbine building was finished. Specialists of the third unit of JSC "MSU-90" filled in the condenser group of the turbine with approximately 700 cubic meters of chemically demineralized water. Then flush screens to collect mechanical particles were mounted in the pumps.
After preparing the equipment to work all the circuits of the main condensate system were flushed. Water sampling of the flushed piping demonstrated high-quality of the post-installation flushing.
AT the same time with the work on the condensate circuit individual sections of the feed circuit were flushed. After completion of all flushing operations the main condensate system and feed water system will be hydraulically tested.
