Specialists of the subsidiary companies of the holding "TITAN-2" soon will get through with the work on the auxiliary standby transformers at the construction site of Leningrad NPP.
The equipment is near the overall plant auxiliary switchgear building (10kV auxiliary switchgear), on the outdoor transformer platform. It includes four auxiliary standby transformers and a transformer for 330/10kV voltage class start-up-and-standby boiler. Each piece of equipment weighs 120 tons.
The transformers were installed by specialists of the fourth unit of JSC "SAM". The platform for their installation, and rail tracks were mounted by employees of OJSC "UAT". Assembling unit No. 15 of JSC "MSU-90" is installing fire-fighting systems at the moment. Commissioning is under way at the same time.
After the transformers pass the required tests, the fourth unit of JSC "SAM" will connect flexible busbar thereto to fully complete the work with this equipment.
