This is an important object of Leningrad NPP under construction, which has a high degree of readiness. Some of the equipment have been already energized. During 2016 the works here were conducted by specialists of the fourth unit of JSC "SAM". They fully assembled the equipment of the building. More than 70 employees were involved in the works at the facility.
The Relay panels building is intended for 330 kV and 750 kV gas insulated switchgears automatics relay protection. The relay panels are in the room at approximately 4,350. They are cabinets with a height of two meters and a width of 60 cm. Each cabinet weighs approximately 200 kg. Rows of panels are placed on a special raised floor, under which all cable connections were laid.
The high-tech equipment was loaded in the building by a crane truck and lifted to the second floor with the use of a winch. All in all there were 140 relay panels installed. Now the relay panels are under commissioning in their room. JSC “SAM” have already fulfilled all main work for the project.
Also specialists of JSC "SAM" have assembled cable metalwork at around -3,600 and laid out hundreds of meters of cable thereon. They also laid out cable in the two underground tunnels to connect the relay panels building with a metal clad switchgear ( 330 GIS) and a 10 kV overall plant auxiliary switchgear (10 kV auxiliary switchgear).
One cable line is as long as 1000 meters. At present the works including cable products necessary for testing have been fully completed.
