The company is the main subcontractor at construction of the Finnish NPP. The company promoted establishing of friendly relations between students of Sosnovy Bor and their Finnish counterparts.
A group of six high-school students, an English teacher and a principal of the gymnasium from Pyhäjoki has spent three days in Sosnovy Bor. During the visit they attended several lessons, visited the city administration, saw local sightseeing places.
Especially for guests an excursion to a construction site of the new units of the Leningrad Nuclear Power Plant was organized. Maxim Yakovlev, Head of the Turbine Island Construction Department of JSC CONCERN TITAN-2 told children about the progress of work at the facility. He showed to guests a pumping station, where water for NPP will come to, told about complex system of its purification by a special filtration system. The students visited also the turbine building. They learned there about how electric power in the Nuclear Power Plant shall be generated, They saw large-scale parts of a turbine unit.
The visit to the construction site of the new units of the Leningrad Nuclear Power Plant gave an idea to guests about how large is the facility – Hankhikivi-1 NPP that will appear in several years in their homeland.

"The power plant is very big! The first that was evident to me is its size. And I am very glad that I had an opportunity to come here and see how the Nuclear Power Plant in Pyhäjoki will look like".
