On the 2nd power unit of LNPP under construction the auxiliary power was provided from the 330 kV gas-insulated switchgear to normal operation power supply building.

Therefore, new conditions were created for further permanent power supply to the equipment and machinery of the power unit.

The JSC SEM team was challenged to fully complete construction and installation works related to the power distribution equipment, cable trestles, tunnels, and normal operation power supply building. For this purpose, construction works, preparation of cable routes, premises finishing, equipment and materials supply, installation of cable metal structures, laying of HV and control cable were performed for several months.

A large work scope was realized to install the fire alarm and firefighting systems. In addition, the JSC SEM specialists developed and implemented the equipment operating current supply design. The JSC SEM specialists of areas No.1 and No.2 installed the equipment and relay panels in record time.
The switching electric installations were tested by operating voltage. The test voltage supply lasted 12 hours. The milestone was considered completed.
