All 163 fuel assemblies were installed and the preparation for the nuclear reaction start has begun.
After closing the reactor vessel, the reactor will be brought to the minimum power level for testing.
At the same time, TITAN-2 Holding Company subsidiaries’ specialists will continue the works at the power unit 1 facilities to promptly prepare it for commissioning.
Mr. Vladimir Minaev, Director of the Branch of JSC CONCERN TITAN-2 in Sosnovy Bor:
“Our main task now is to ensure that the power unit is ready for the power startup. The main scope of our works moves to the turbine hall to ensure the availability of steam to receive, steam to turbine and synchronization to the network.”
