Assemblers of the Second Unit of JSC MSU-90 are preparing to install two last tanks in the water preparation building at the first power unit of the Leningrad NPP under construction.
The tanks each weighing 10 tons and having a diameter of 63 m have been already delivered to the site.
Specialists of JSC MSU-90 will mount the tanks on the foundation and connect pipelines to them. Mounting will be carried out by "GROOVE" crane with a loading capacity of 50 tons.
In general the tank facility includes twelve units. Each tank will carry out a certain stage of water purification to provide water purity required for testing, and in future – for nuclear power plant operation. This facility has been built solely by JSC MSU-90.
