Currently, laying of the roof coating is in progress. 13 employees are involved in this work.

The coating is a roofing membrane reinforced with polyester mesh. This modern roofing material has a wide range of applications in modern civil construction and is based on polyvinyl chloride with the addition of plasticizers. The membrane is fireproof, of high strength, elasticity, it is resistant to temperature fluctuations and UV radiation.

Prior to laying, the employees levelled the concrete base of the roof with a cement-sand screed, laid a vapor barrier (bitumen roll material) and heat insulation.

Thanks to the great length (15 to 20 m) and the width of the membrane pieces (from 1.06 to 2.12 m) and use of special equipment in order to ensure high-quality laying of the material, the work performance is quick. Firstly, the pieces are fixed to the base with fasteners. Then the adjacent pieces of the membrane are bonded together by means of hot air stream.

To date, 1500 square meters of coating have been laid. Specialists will have to lay another  120 square meters of the membrane and 100 meters of footpaths.
