After completion of cold and hot run, in the process of inspection, withdrawable parts of the reactor coolant pumps will be transported to the workshop area for disassembly and assessment of their technical status.
There is a dedicated special area in the room with a specially designed three-level benchmark already installed for the purpose.
Another part of the repair area accommodates a mounting stand designed for inspection and assembly of the reactor coolant pump motors. A crane with a lifting capacity of 50 tons is used to move heavy equipment.
Currently the finishing works in the room are at their final stage.
