Installation to regular places

Each diesel engine-generator unit that is 12 metres long and weighs 140 tons was unloaded by means of “Liebherr LR 11350”. This critical operation was done by specialists of the assembly site of tower and bridge cranes of JSC "UAT".

In front of the building of diesel station, diesel engine-generator units were unloaded to a special platform. And then the equipment was rolled by tracks to its regular place in the building. The speed of moving of the heavy structure was one metre per hour.

There will be the total of 4 diesel engine-generator units in the building of diesel power station. Two more units of equipment are planned to install later.

Specialists will have to equip diesel engine-generator units with cooling systems, compressors, receivers etc. Large-sized auxiliary equipment will be installed to its regular place through the building roof. Afterwards, assembly apertures in the roof will be closed.
